Machine boasts strong CNC turning of all types ranging from
Swiss screw machining, to large (60” diameter) vertical
turning. Jewett has strong 2 axis as well as 4 axis CNC turning
and live tool capability. Precision turned parts are a specialty
in a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel,
aluminum, brass and plastics. Jewett performs both low volume
and high volume CNC turning. |

Part
of a complex actuator assembly used to open a toolbox
door. This actuator will be shipped, via the space
shuttle to the international space station on the
next mission.Operations include: Turning, 4-axis
milling and cylindrical grinding.
